　　保险凭证(Insurance Certificate)又称小保单，它是简化的保险单。其背面没有列入详细保险条款。但其余内容与保险单基本一致，且与其具有同样的法律效力。一般来讲，如果来证要求提供保险单，不能提供保险凭证。如果信用证要求提供保险凭证，则可以提供保单。
