Tungsten acid is an important intermediate for the production of tungsten powder, cemented carbide, tungsten wire and other tungsten products. It is also used as a catalyst in certain organic reactions. It is used as a colorant in the dye and pigment industry. It is also used as a positive electrode material for lithium batteries in new energy vehicles.
