The barium tungsten cathode is a high-performance thermionic cathode composed of a porous matrix filled uniformly with barium salts. It features low work function, high emission current, high emission efficiency, and excellent resistance to ion bombardment.
Currently, it is primarily used in xenon flash lamp applications, with products including photographic lamps, electronic bayonet lamps, skin rejuvenation and hair removal lamps, solar detection lamps, pump light source lamps, pulsed sterilization lamps, industrial counter lamps, indicator lamps, and signal lamps.
