Tungsten oxide may be applied for producing window heat insulation film so that this type of thin film will has the characteristics of high heat insulation, high visible light transmittance, anti-glare, anti-radiation, stain resistance, anti-aging, self-cleaning and privacy protection. The tungsten oxide powder may be prepared by thermal decomposition method.
Preparation of Tungsten Oxide by Thermal Decomposition Method
The tungsten trioxide (WO3) is dissolved in aqueous ammonia, and citric acid is added as a shape control agent, and therefore tungsten trioxide hollow sphere may be prepared by spray pyrolysis method. The preparation system consists of three parts, a droplet generator, a quartz tube reactor and a particle collector. The droplet generator is an ultrasonic instrument, and the ultrasonic mist is passed through a carrier gas into a quartz tube with an inner diameter of 55mm and a temperature of 700°C. And a thermal decomposition process is performed to obtain the final product.
