Nano grain size tungsten trioxide is a kind of infrared ultraviolet shielding material that may be prepared by different methods, one of which is sol-gel method. What is sol-gel method?

Sol-gel method is a commonly used method for preparing nano-semiconductor powder. Other sol-gel methods include ion exchange method, and alkoxide hydrolysis method of tungsten, etc. In the post-treatment process, the sol-gel method inevitably requires a high-temperature calcination process to remove organic components, and the calcination process may increase the sample particles and the surface hydroxyl group will be greatly reduced, which is not conducive to the improvement of the photocatalytic performance of the sample.
